Wallabag
Wallabag is a read-it-later service for saving articles, highlighting text, adding annotations, and exporting content for offline reading.
Required Database
Wallabag requires PostgreSQL. During installation, choose an existing PostgreSQL service in the same environment or allow Moltern to create the required dependency. Moltern supplies the selected connection to Wallabag during deployment.
Deploy Wallabag
- Open Services and search for Wallabag.
- Choose the target environment.
- Select or create the PostgreSQL dependency.
- Review capacity and storage, then start the deployment.
- Wait for both Wallabag and its dependency to become ready.
- Open the generated URL.
The initial catalog login is wallabag / wallabag. Change it immediately after the first sign-in and do not reuse it in another environment.
Verify The Installation
- Save a public article URL.
- Confirm Wallabag downloads and displays the article.
- Add a highlight or annotation.
- Test an export format you plan to use.
- Review authentication before adding a custom domain.
Wallabag files and database data persist across normal restarts. Export important content before deleting the service or its database dependency.
