Cap
Cap provides screen recording and sharing. A complete self-hosted deployment needs more than the web interface: its database, object storage, media processing and authentication configuration must work together.
The configured public runtime image could not be retrieved, and the template does not provision the complete required stack. New deployments are disabled pending correction. Do not treat older configuration examples as a verified Moltern installation guide.
What Needs To Be Available
Before this template can be offered again, validation must cover:
- The correct upstream web runtime and initialization.
- A compatible MySQL database and authenticated private connection.
- Object storage, bucket setup and correct internal and public endpoints.
- Media processing and authenticated callbacks.
- User login, email or identity-provider configuration, and safe secrets.
- A real upload or recording, playback, access controls, persistence and cleanup.
These are prerequisites, not features already implemented by the current template. Increasing CPU or storage alone will not repair missing dependencies.
Existing Deployments
If an earlier deployment failed, record its identifier and sanitized error for support. Do not repeatedly deploy copies or delete important data to repair a missing image. Before removing an old test, review its stored-data and dependency choices in Moltern.
Do not edit subscription or billing records inside Cap to simulate entitlement. Use the product's documented licensing and account configuration.
