Alexandrie Cargo Registry

The Moltern template named Alexandrie targets a Rust Cargo package registry. It is not the unrelated Alexandrie Markdown note-taking application. Earlier documentation mixed these products; this page corrects that distinction.

Requirements To Resolve​

An operational private registry needs a usable runtime image, registry configuration, persistent crate storage, a crate index and publishing authentication. Upstream's Docker setup also describes Git identity and index access. The existing template does not establish a complete tested configuration for those requirements.

Before enabling deployment again, the Moltern workflow must demonstrate account setup, authenticated publication of a disposable crate, retrieval from an authorized Cargo client, denied unauthorized publication, restart persistence and scoped cleanup. An HTTP response alone is not sufficient.

Existing Failed Installs​

Do not retry deployments expecting a storage setting to fix the image or bootstrap. Preserve important data, then contact support with the service identifier and sanitized failure. When deleting a disposable test, review its stored-data option; a failed startup can still have allocated resources.
